It has straight grain with few knots, is hard and wear-resistant and not easy to crack. It is adaptable to both dry and humid environments.
4. The rock slab is a travertine slab with a fine, matte surface.

There are six different types of grains in black walnut: wavy, mountain, straight, golden birdpecking, and water drop.
It is challenging to have two different types of grains in one type of wood.
