European BEECH solid wood , Kids collection

A desk that grows with your child

This solid wood kids' study desk adjusts in height as your child grows, from the first school years to the teens. Build the setup you need: a desk on its own, with a low bookshelf, with a tall hutch with pegboard or built-in LED light, and with a rolling drawer cabinet for supplies.

Materials

100% solid wood in all wooden parts (hardware, metal and other non-wood parts excluded).
Beech: imported European beech with a fine, straight grain, even texture, warm tone and medium-high hardness, both beautiful and durable.
Rubberwood: imported Thai rubberwood, finger-jointed for even stress release, so it resists warping, swelling and cracking.
Secondary woods: New Zealand pine for the desk frame and the back panels of lighted shelves (tough, stable, light, straight-grained); paulownia for drawer boxes and back panels (moisture- and wear-resistant, will not warp, mold-resistant).

Hardware

Stainless steel three-section ball-bearing drawer slides; the rolling cabinet has two fixed front casters and two locking swivel rear casters.

Built-in LED light (lighted hutch)

Touch control with 9 brightness levels; 60 W, ≥3000 lm, 4000K warm white, color rendering index ≥ Ra95; flicker-free, RG0 eye-safe; aluminum alloy body with PC diffuser, 16.4" × 11.6" × 3.5" (416×295×90 mm); 48 V/1.25 A output, two-prong plug with 3 m cable.

Finish

An eco-friendly, odorless base coat for water and oil resistance, topped with plant-based wood wax oil for a warm, natural sheen.

Sizes

Desks 35.4"–51.2" W (90–130 cm) × 23.6" D (60 cm), and 39.4" or 47.2" W × 19.7" D (100×50 or 120×50 cm); height 29.5" (75 cm), adjustable; with low shelf 40.6" H (103 cm), with tall shelf 62.2" H (158 cm), with lighted shelf 69.3" H (176 cm).
