Materials
1. The frame is crafted from 100% solid wood (all wooden parts; hardware and accessories such as metal and glass are not wood).
2. Black Walnut versions: imported North American black walnut, a luxury hardwood with rich, varied grain, few knots and natural resistance to mold.
3. White Ash versions: premium imported white ash with an elegant, even tone and bold, dynamic cathedral grain that shows the true character of natural wood. Hard and solid, it is structurally stable, resists warping and stands up well to impact.
4. White Oak versions: Russian white oak in a light, yellowish-brown natural tone — a pure neutral without pink or red undertones that suits a wide range of interiors. It features distinctive straight, cathedral and tiger-stripe grain, high hardness and good decay resistance, making it an excellent choice for high-end furniture.
5. Supporting wood: pine, used for the seat support slats; tough, stable, lightweight, straight-grained and nearly knot-free.
6. Black Walnut versions use Okoume wood in the backrest frame — naturally straight-grained, flawless and knot-free, with a fine, smooth feel.
Comfort
7. Seat cushion: a 6.3 inch (16 cm) D32 foam support layer topped with a soft layer of white goose feather and plush polyester fiber.
8. Back cushion: a 10.2 inch (26 cm) D20 foam core with white goose feather and plush polyester fiber.
9. Armrest: a 6.3 inch (16 cm) D32 foam core with white goose feather and plush polyester fiber.
10. Seat, back and arm cushions are all removable. The seat cushion's support layer and soft layer stay attached but can be separated by hand; the back cushions lift off easily; upgraded seat cushions have separate upper and lower layers, and the arm and seat cushions have upper and lower zippers.
Upholstery
11. Faux cotton-linen fabric in Pear White or Smoky Chestnut Brown; the covers are removable and washable (zippered).
White Oak versions: chenille faux linen in three colors — White, Light Brown and Linen; the covers are removable and washable (zippered).
Finish
An eco-friendly, low-odor base coat is applied first for better water resistance, oil resistance and stability, followed by a protective layer of plant-based hardwax oil. This natural finish gives the furniture a warm, soft sheen and a comfortable touch you can trust for the whole family.

Only wood with really deep colours, like black walnut, will have a golden shine.
Black walnut has an uneven texture and distinctive black-gray lines that are caused by the significant temperature difference between day and night in the Appalachian Mountains and the severe winter.
There are six different types of grains in black walnut: wavy, mountain, straight, golden birdpecking, and water drop.
It is challenging to have two different types of grains in one type of wood.
