Materials
1. All wooden parts are crafted from 100% solid wood (hardware and accessories such as metal and glass are not wood).
2. Primary wood: imported North American black walnut — a luxury hardwood with rich, varied grain, few knots and natural resistance to mold.
3. Supporting wood: imported New Zealand pine — tough, stable, lightweight, straight-grained and nearly knot-free — used for the rear top and bottom rails, adjustable dividers, center panels, pull-out back supports and the rear section of the bottom panel.
4. Supporting wood: paulownia — resistant to moisture, wear, heat, warping and mold. Used since ancient times for bellows rods and celebrated in China as a classic wood for musical instruments, it is used for the back panel and drawers.
5. Travertine sintered stone, 0.4 inch (1.1 cm) thick, used for the countertop and drawer fronts.
6. Upper hutch options: hutch with pegboard, tall hutch with pegboard, or tall hutch with pegboard and a power outlet track.
